My 94 exploder is burning a bit of oil ~1 quart every 4000 miles. Does that Restore engine additive do anything it advertises? ie. help compression, decrease oil consumption, etc?
"Restore" engine additive?

would have to agree on a 94 loss of a quart is nothing between oil changes. My 92 with a 351 did that and 01 with a 5.4 uses about a 1/2 quart between changes. My past experiences with those type of additives is all they seem to thickin up the oil to make it burn less. Restore and the likes are very thick in viscosity. It didn't hurt any but didn't really notice any changes.

I wouldn't bother with any of the additives or anything like that. 1 quart every 4,000 miles isn't bad at all.LOOK HERE:Originally posted by Pony5.0but hey we have broken up 2 times in the past week and she keeps crawling back to me and she told me she would never crawl back to a guy and i am the only one. she tells me she loves me and everything!
