how much would it cost? what all would you need?and what yards/shops would have all the parts for a 5 lug conversion for a 93 to peice togeather cheaply.
300 for hub/spindle, calipers, hoses (you also won't need hoses but I have a 86 - 20bucks)
180 for new shocks and struts (option unless you have a 86 like me)
220(ish) for axles, drums, brake pads and rotors
25 for rear end fluid
10 for axles seals (just do them!)
25 for balljoints.
I would say that is ballpark + wheels of course...
I pulled most of the stuff from johns auto... and now that I think of it that 300 was also including rear disc brake parts so -100 or so prolly)
this is going to sound stupid.doubt its even possible.but do they just have adapters that you can put on like wheels spacers that go from 4 lug to 5 lug?

What would be the benefit of doing that? You still roll on stock shithole brakes. The whole point of a 5 lug convo is to get better brakes and better wheel selection.
the point would be that my bro would sell me his bullits really cheap.so do they?
buy the bullets and then do the conversion. the wheels will fit like shit probably since you will have to run a pretty thick spacer just to get enough leverage on the actual 4 lugs and then you have to put the wheel on and blah blah blah, i think it would look like crap with the 4 to 5lug spacer.

Just save yourself the hassle and buy the Front and Rear kits from Apple Valley Ford. Ford Racing Performance Parts makes kits for both. That's what I did on my old GT. Works great.

I heard you can just get 11'' brake rotors (from Napa) for a lincoln mark8 in front. Then 5 lug axles in back with a disc brake conversion.
You can change to this but bullits won't fit over the snout of the rotor (where the bearing sits). You need the hub style for most newer wheels to fit properly.
I'm not sure what your are looking to do but I don't think I would mess around with rear discs unless you got a bit of money...because once you put on the rears (using those special 200 dollar brackets or welding the backing plates to the back of the flange) you have to mess with a new booster and proportioning setup...
I am going to do rear discs eventuall because I have all the parts. But for the mean time I'm happy. The 95 GT brakes I used greatly improved my stopping.
I wouldn't mess with spacers either...the tires would never fit with something like that on.

This information is incorrect. There are no special 200 dollar brackets or welding IF you do it right. Take 94-98 Mustang Axles, put them into your diff, and bolt up the disc brakes. No welding, and it's easy. Putting on a new booster, master cylinder and proportioning stuff is easy. Don't try to steer this guy from doing this right by taking the cheap and easy way out by using drum brakes.
