As for what's "right and wrong", it could easily be argued that someone who is collecting unemployment and working is *right* to be collecting money from an employer who is severely *wrong*. Of course, the laws in this country continue to be geared more and more towards protecting the corporation from the individuals... which is flipping ridiculous.

Holy shit! I never thought I deserved to be made fun of for being one of the poorest kids in my school. I never thought I deserved to go hungry when my parents couldn't afford food even though they each worked two jobs. I never thought I deserved to get jumped by kids in my class who didn't like the southern accent I spoke with while they called me Redneck, Honky, Cracker and White Trash.

Because I've pulled myself out of that life and think there are ways many more can keep themselves out of it I am accused of all sorts of shit. FUCK YOU! You don't know shit about my background. Yet you paint a fucking picture of me that doesn't fit in the least.

I agree that corporations should be held accountable for there employees. But, I don't feel anyone should be gauranteed a job. Who the hell are we to demand that the rich employ the poor? Who the fuck are we to tell someone with money what they NEED to do with it? If it's not your toy box, leave it the fuck alone!

I'm not rich. I'm LOWER middle class, at best. It's certainly not me I'm preaching on behalf of. It's a general respect of others rights to pursue happiness.

Yep been there, then my parents worked really hard to get us out of that situation,until:

my dad gets laid off from a well paying job and takes a job as a bus driver as an interim.

mom gets cancer and looses her job.

Dad is stuck in his job because they are to afraid to loose their medical coverage.

Mom continues to battle cancer for the next ~14 years

Dad is stuck as an overeducated school bus driver, paying thousands upon thousands in medical bills, having two sons in the house.

There were a few times where my parents did side jobs (off the books) to keep some money coming in and help make ends meet. God they were such law breaking scum bags

They are cheating the tax system (those bastards) and a time or two while my mom was on SS and before that on unemployment she did a few odd jobs under the table when she could physically manage it (freaking criminals I tell you).
