1) Rebuilt it.
2) Bolt it in.
3) Wire it up using the same engine harness and just re-pin it at the ECU.
Having to switch up the entire harness is silly, especially if you're coming to and from a speed density ECU. Ford really didn't that creative with the EEC-IV.
He wouldn't even have to rewire anything. If he gets the same year engine harness as the one he has now, all he has to do is plug the engine harness into the engine compartment harness and he's good. The five in-line plugs on the right side of the pic is where the engine harness plugs into and they're the same for a 5.0, 5.8, 4.9, 7.5l etc.
When we got to my place, I already had a candle burning. It was by "Glade", which I think you pronounce like the singer Sade, because it is an exotic candle that smells just like real pine.
So explorer motor, Goofy ass wires, and a distributor...
$600+....
Find a '95 or '96 motor with the regular GT40 heads. Then you don't need "goofy ass wires" or headers/
Exploder motor $300
Used dizzy <$30
5.0 HO computer
Cheap as fuck. Then just do whatever is needed to get the injector firing order right using the existing harness, and profit. Cheaper and easier than a 351.
