Funnier yet about 10 years ago three high school kids were given an oppertunity to own 10% of the store. They took out huge loans and have worked there every since. Just to own 10% and still have a boss.
I won't step foot in there but my friend went in for a brass fitting. One of the 10% owners looked at him, didn't even look at the part and said "Ha, good luck" and walked away. It was a standard banjo bolt.
Another friend went through 3 count them 3 "New" torque converters in 450 miles for his 2001 dodge pickup. He was not happy at all. Dd they offer to cover any of his labor enev when asked?? Nope. He is a self employed deisel mechanic and a very, VERY good wrench.
Honestly if the store was run by human beings I would buy NEW parts there. No remaned. Personally. IMO.
I actually hope they will go out of business, but they won't. Farmers, truckers, and a few shops in the area keep them going. At least Advanced leveled the playing field.
