What (Problems) to look for in older Trailblazers

    I'd look at Escape / Mazda Tribute. My girlfriend has a 2003 and it's been ok IMO. Thinking of the things that have been fixed:
    control arm bushing
    alternator
    fuel pump
    sunroof switch

    That's about all I can think of. Seems like a decent vehicle to me.

      They're not *that* overpriced. It takes some shopping around to find exactly what you're looking to get but the Jeeps in that price range usually seem to have less wrong with them. That's completely colloquial but it's been my general impression.

      The engine and transmission package is nearly indestructible. And that one's old enough not to have interior bits that are falling completely apart (like my facelifted W203...)

          Yes if you don't change the fluid. Got a 06 that just turned 200K yesterday. It's been great so far.
