    Anyone running AFR185's?

Just wondering if you are and if you had to notch your pistons and what kinda cam/combo you are running. Thanks!

I had a set on a stock 89 shortblock with an F cam...

I was one that didnt have to notch the pistons, barely any clearance though. I would certainly notch them at this point in my hobby.

Could you be a little bit more specific? What cam you were running etc...

Screw it... Ill just make the valves notch it. Problem solved!

Pretty sure you will end up notching the pistons to get the 2.02 valves to have proper clearance...Stock pistons do not have much for valve reliefs...clay the pistons.
