The rear window came out because whoever back halved the car put some shitty sheetmetal on the package tray and the rear firewall. I cant remove the rivets on the package tray without removing the glass. The rear seats were cosmetic only and totally butchered. Saving weight by tossing rear seat, sounds panels and carpet in the back. Installing aluminum rear seat delete and package tray from this guy.

Thinking about the doors. I would prefer to keep a steel decklid for weight bias. The front will need to be 50 lbs lighter to keep it the same, if I were to go with a FG lid. Then again, when the car gets a wing and chute, fiberglass would off set that.
I could put on the lightweight spindles and save 7 pounds, but I also street drive somewhat and the spindles are NOT recommended for it.

Wipers and assorted linkage and wiring.

Get rid of extra wiring in general.

Switch to power windows if you have manual.

What wipers? Already have Painless wiring in the car. Switch to power windows? Might as well put the A/C and cruise control back on

It's been proven by a local well established engine builder that when comparing factory pieces to factory pieces, the power windows are actually lighter than the manual windows.
