yeah its been brought to my attention that its gonna be near impossible to find the 2.3 bell housing. if i don't run a full interior i'll just go with the world class T5. a c4 would be cool though. i'm a long long ways away from having to worry about it yet.98 contour SVT

well i got the engine back to the shop and pulled it apart. everything looks real good minus two problems. Two of the head bolts broke while taking the head off. one has about an inch of bolt sticking out, one has about 1/4" sticking out. the internals look real good and everything was pretty clean inside so off it goes to a machine shop to see if they can get them out. I'll put a few pics up tomorrow morning.98 contour SVT

i probably could but i really dont wanna make the problem any worse. i think if i were a machinist, i'd rather deal with the original problem, rather than a problem i fucked up worse. it cant cost that much to have them pulled. It was relieving to see that it looked good inside though. Since i'm going to have it in a machine shop, i may just get it re-ringed and bearing'd while i'm at it.98 contour SVT
