1986 ford ranger. Extended cab 2 wd.
Getting a 5" drop that im taking off a scrap ranger I picked up.
Also swapping in a v8/t5.
The engine is out of a 97 explorer so its got all the gt40 goodies. Also the accesory drive is much closer to the block allowing for more space infront.
Putting in a e303 cam, 1.7 roller rockers, new lifters and push rods. Also a spring upgrade to allow for the better cam. Also upgrading to 24lb injectors, 65mm throttlebody and maf. Upgraded fuel pump and aftermaket rails and fpr.wil be running tri-y SS headers.
The engine and heads only have 5k miles on a professional rebuild.
The t5 came with a hurst shortshifter but is otherwise stock.
Rear end will be out of a 2000 v8 explorer with 3.73 gears. With the new front suspension I will be getting upgraded to 2 piston calipers rather than the stock single piston.
