I have found that my car has been broken into (I call it a Meth Tax) more often when I have lived in nicer neighborhoods than when I live in more blue collar neighborhoods. Seems that thieves know where the good stuff is. Hell, I don't even lock my daily anymore.

And I live in North MPLS and I have not one but 2 cars that park outside, every night, yet to have them broke into.

Jason was a friend of mine. I dated his little sister for nearly 3 years and worked for/with him for 3 summers in HS and early college.

He was always really good to me. He has a really clean '85 GT with T-tops. Last I saw of it the engine was out and he was thinking of building or buying a new one.

He struggled with some things that is for sure, but he was a good friend to plenty of people. My x gf and her dad are really going to have a hard time with this and I feel horrible for them.

I think they just go for nicer cars. I doubt my rustbucket jeep would get broken into even if I parked it in Excelsior unlocked and with the keys in it.

But let me put my excursion outside in Shitkopee... or my brand new at the time mustang, in a garage next to Guadalupe...
