Gas use would be nil. Electric bill would go up considerably. Like my economics professor use to always say, "There is no such thing as a free lunch".

I'm not convinced that electric is the way to go. We will just end up burning more coal to generate electricity. If the power was nuclear, then it would be a viable option, but it doesnt seem like any new plants are popping up in the near future.

I'm all for improved technology in internal combustion engines both diesel and gasoline (direct injection, electronic valvetrain, etc..). We also need to get vehicle weight down as they all have an obesity problem.

The video also said it could take 4 hours with a 240v outlet. I would def use the 240v and not the pussy 110v
