about holley carbs..I asked a friend of mine why my idle mixture screws had to be 3.5 turns out, thats too much, he asked me if my secondary throttle blades were open at all at idle, im like , so i pulled the carb off today and looked, they were closed, so i went online and did some research, i got the secondary blades adjusted properly and the idle mixture screws are only 1.5 turns out now. The throttle responds improved, and it idles more smooth, i have been running it like it was for almost 10 years :idiot:, hopefully it will help others on here that have carb issues. Just thought id share.
