I thought the car was still in warranty - asshole.

I am working on it, and I will.

My question is this? What was the car ORIGINALLY bought back for? Wouldnt happen to be what you are trying to get fixed now is it? Just curious.

And the statement about most dealers having "COURTESY CARS" is not true. Alot have a SHUTTLE and some have loaner cars most don't do anything unless you ask or have it arranged with your salesmen. And if the car is out of warranty they are really not responsible IMO.

Also how could you not know when the Warranty was expired?

Also I dont think it is fair for you to say " they were not busy" just by how the shop looked. You have no idea the inner workings of the dealer and how cars are scheduled.

Just trying to get all the details here.

4 man night crew till 2 am.
2 called in sick or what ever. so 2 guys working. 1 only does front end work and the other does engine work. I'm sure that is the reason for not getting in until the next morning.

I'm sorry we could not fix your car under warranty. but expired is expired especialy with a lemon law car.

loads, I am a nice guy. just look at it from my point of view. you come on here doggin the shit out of us and you dont tell the whole story! what did you expect? people should think with the amount of people on this site that someone either works at every dealer in the area or knows someone that does. so just tell the whole story next time and we can leave out the name calling and shit talking!

just think if you were talking about J. H. M. your phone would be ringing off the hook right now!
it's almost allstock! except the wheels.

              .

Well put. Ford doesnt pay for the majority of the rental cars. It comes outta the dealers pockets.

I don't quite follow how letting a customer take a car for a day is any different than letting a salesman take a demo home....

I was just going to say, even when I was selling the "DEMO" was going by the wayside. We were offered $300 a month to NOT drive a demo. Shit that $300 made my car payment.

It was a cally car originally. They have their own lemon law. No, it wasn't for the sunroof or anything else. If you complain about ANYTHING 3 times the dealer has to take it back there. Then they check it out and re-sell it in another state as a NEW vehicle. I called Sup ford from my work, and didn't have the car nearby to give the actual miles. I was mistaken about that. I thought since it was only 1400mi out, and the fact that I had tried to get it in in Dec or Jan for the same thing but needed the car and had to take it back would help convince them to take care of me. I have never brought a car in for service anywhere before! I never could afford it as a younger man, and now with all the bills and a fam I am poorer than ever...

Again, when I checked it in they told me it WAS in warranty and everything would be taken care of. They put me into a rental for a day. I thought 15 hrs would be enough time to at least look at it! I'm sure they knew people were sick by 3:00, so they could've told me they'd be behind.

I could care less about #1 roofer. I was really mad when I started this thread, and you can only type so much w/o cliffs.
The bottom line is this: I can't afford to just rent a car or take time off from work. I mistakenly thought an appt is an appt. I asked Tom G when he thought it would be looked at, and he told me "we'll get on it right away".
He also said he'd let me know if that changed. He had my cell #!!

I called that night @ 8:00, the next AM @ 8:30, and still nobody had looked at my car or cared to keep me informed. I took 2 hrs off to bring it in @ 3:15 so there would be more time to get to it. Then I had to take 2 hrs off the next day to get the loaner back and not be charged $50 for an extra day.

I am out 1/2 day of pay and have nothing to show for it. What should I have done different? (besides work on it myself... I'll do that this wknd) How does the average person do it? (they are probably not as poor as me...)

2 times this has happened at SF. I was really mad about it and posted. I didn't call anyone names, and I am not "shit talking". I just expected more from SF than they could deliver, I guess.

Did someone say Superior Ford? I like the salespeople and the guys in service. But I don't recommend the store whenever a family member asks where to go. (Sorry Scott)

I still wanna know who bought the Grabber Orange 2007 GT?
