As usual i seem to be doing more harm than good when turning wrenches. If any1 can come over just long enough to help me track down a vacuum leak it would be awesome. I can hear it but can't keep the car running long enough to start it, get out and search. It kills before i can open the damn door.

It whisltes really fucking loud. I just replaced the 2 base gaskets on the carb. There is 2, 1 really thin 1 under the spacer and 1 thick on top of the spacer. I've checked every piece vacuum hose i can see. It better not be the fucking gaskets.

Once the car starts by arcin the solenoid use the throttle shaft on the carb to keep it running?
