They were for most of the 50's. Popularity has nothing to do with the AKC's decision regarding pitbulls. And again, quite frankly they very well may be more numerous than labs right now. There's been 0 statistics kept on it and nobody has any clue what the real numbers are.

But the fact they are one of the most dangerous dogs is still true.

There is no professor David Plum that has taught at any of the above schools. The man does not exist, and is most definitely NOT an expert on the subject of dogs.

You cannot see from a point of view other than that of the owner of a pitbull because you are too emotionally attatched to the issue. This emotional attatchment is not letting you see this problem as a whole, like I stated earlier. You are picturing how sad you would be if you had to get rid of your dog. You're not thinking about how angry you'd be if you were the parent of one of the children who has been killed by a pitbull this year. Or the people who have to pay for a three day hospital stay because their neighbor had an affinity for a dog that is bread for protection.

I was hoping you could bust out your critical thinking skills, apparently not. Here's a beginning list. Every *private* course int he state of minnesota is open to the public via membership. Very few courses in the WORLD are setup per augusta where membership is invitation only.

Did you know that people on welfare get an average of $3 a day for food? Otherwise they just get coupons to buy formula for their infants and so on. The only way people get money that they can spend as they please is unemployment. If you every get fired or laid off I'm sure you would be pretty happy that we have unemployment instead of impeccable animal control.

Homeless could go to a shelter.. and with the thousands of dollars working Americans would save not being taxed for it the homeless could get much more help to get back on their feet. Like it used to be, and yes people used to take care of each other more before this country became a welfare state.

So, did Chrysler get $3 a day, was that their bail out? How about NWA's? How much do we already spend to give people health care that often times have the money to do so themselves but would rather have a nicer car or some other luxury item?I've seen unemployment checks that far exceed $3 a day for food. Do farmers get $3 a day to grow ethanol?

Actually, I brought smoking into it, tying to point out the situational application of government nannying as being acceptible in SFCs eyes, thusly illustrating that he is a massive hypocrite. After he said that he would be fine if his dog was banned in public, I realized I could not prove hypocrisy at this time, only idiocy.
