i have a pitbull/yellow lab mix and she is the sweetest dog ever. she's kinda hyper but she sometimes sneeks out and runs around and would NEVER bite anybody. i just dont get why pitbulls are so dangerous?isnt it more the owner than the dog it self?

why don't we just charge the owner of the dog with the human equivelant crime . If the dog bites someone is Agg. assault. if a dog kills someone its murder, and so on. then all the owners would be in jail and the dogs would be put down. maybe that would make someone think twice before they chain the dog to a tree and take turns beating it to make it meaner.

Seriously though I just crashed at a friends place last night who owns a pit.. I couldn't stop playing with the thing and it wouldn't stop licking my face. He was full of love, I had a blast with him. I miss my dog my house is so quiet without him
