Nascar above all other things? Build a bigger stadium for the monster trucks to race at, More people would go to that then they would to a damn nascar race.....In Minnesota atleast.

If a track were to come, I would support it regardless if it was a road course or just an oval. Unlike sports, racing is better live.

The track in pine city was axed as was the indoor motocross track in wyoming, Sure as hell no nascar track will be coming to MN.

Like stated, everyone knows it'll never EVER happen. I don't get into Nascar really... but I'd support a track being built, as you would think it could lead to smaller tracks such as a much needed 1/4 mile track, *however*, it would cost way WAY more then what they wanna spend anyways, due to the fact that nothing's even set or ready for the amount of people such a thing would bring in. Shit, our freeways are so far behind in time that they can't even handle the people we have now, granted... they've upgraded a couple areas around the TC, you'd still need more room wherever anything of that size was going to be put. People gotta be able to get in and get out. We can barely do that anywhere as it is it seems, it's irritating

Then if it passed, we'd have to have a quota of minority contractors and other disenfranchised groups get their "fair share" of the contracts.

I think if they'd throw up a track closer to the cities cause not everyone is gonna run to BIR everytime they find a race. it'd take alot of the street racing out of the cities and it'd prolly make for a good turnout everyweekend. I say fuck nascar, Throw up a 1/4 mile track

The track in pine city was on a much smaller scale than this. A track like this would draw a ton of business to the area unlike a small drag strip.

When you throw in names like NASCAR, IRL, NHRA, etc... it will draw a different crowd of supporters. Ones with money.

Maybe it will be subsidized by the government...thats about the only other sports event that isn't in MN.

I'm not a huge nascar fan, but I would be 100% for it.

However, I'll give anyone 10:1 odds that there isn't a track in the immediate metro area in 2010
