That's kinda how I feel and why I laugh at my two friends. My fiance doesn't go out a lot, but people do stare at her T&A every now and again (the "A" is pretty noticeable and not in a bad way ) and I usually just give them a look like " ok bud.." and let it go because she's my wife in 3 weeks and she's not that shallow.

huh? What are we talking about...what's wierd and over protective about that? I feel that guys can and should stand up for their women, to a certain extent. In a few weeks, we can just flash our rings and not say anything...which is even better (not that are rings are cool, it's just that people get what we mean)

                Refering to LS1Z28

Sure they can stand up for there girl. They look at your girl who cares? Maybe she is good looking? Whats the big deal. Some people just need to turn off bad-ass mode all the time and grow up.

We should get matching guns too. We can put some cool nickname on them, and then we'll get my friends I mentioned (you actually would know one of them from my days back on myspace...he's the big guy that always gave you crap) and we'll have a cool set of four...a QUAD of guns.

It is fun to piss him off...but he usually gets me back. Just ask about Miller Park and watch me and him OR about the DM at the night job

The thing is, if no one questions, checks or opposes behavior like that it only gets worse. It starts out as mild harrassment and eventually leads to some sort of sexual attack when it's left unchecked and unopposed. Stopping that kind of crap in its infancy may have just saved your sister, wife, daughter cousin or friend from someday being raped. Yeah, I'm a jerk for that.

Believe me, I don't really like fighting. I have better things to do and frankly I'm ugly enough. However, what kind of message are you sending to people who will act that way when you just walk away?

I didn't turn around and ask what he was saying because I wanted to throw down. I asked because he was saying something loud enough with the intention of me hearing it. I had no idea if it was an apology or what. So, when I turned around and asked what he'd said, and he gave me the whole, "you heard me" bit, I was committed. Especially when the four of them started walking toward me.

I wasn't going to back down and let them think that they can say whatever they like and be as disrespectful as they like because no one would stand up to it. They could just bully their way. -----Not happening. Not with this guy.

There are plenty of guys that check out my wife and my sister. I'm not blind to that. For the most part, I don't care. It's not until someone is being overly obvious and extremely disrepectful about it that I'll say something. And you're damn right that I'll back up anything I'll stand up for. Certainly you guys have seen the kind of crap I'm talking about -- when looking at a girl has gone way beyond just looking.

Again, this is just tongue and cheek and I admire your position actually but for those on the board that get this sort-of inside joke...

I give this essay an A+
