Well, unless someone with millions in his pocket and sponsorship from companies like USBank, 3M, Target leads the way, this will never happen IMO. Too many roadblocks.
It's great to have a dream, but you need the power. Money, relationships, etc. to reach the goal.
same think happened to roosters, the indoor motocross track in wyoming mn. its on the backburner to....the powers that be do not like motorsports i guess.

The funding was already there. If you visit the site and read all the information, you'll find out that it was pretty much the folks that live there that screwed the whole deal up. They'll be making another announcement in the next week or so.
It's good to see that we're still being talked about. Hammar's right, all the pieces were and are still in place to build a motorsports facility including financing. To refresh some memories if you followed our project, we tried to build in Pine County but were given a request by the Pine County Board of Commissioners for an extensive and very lengthy environmental impact study. Keep in mind we went through something similar for 6 months. In October we told Pine County that we weren't going to go through that exercise and made that known through the news media. Since that time, we pulled back and regrouped. We'll make an announcment next week on where we're headed but we are all very committed to seeing this through. Alot of people have contacted us wondering where we went or what we're doing but we felt it was better to stay out of the cross hairs for a little while.
Thanks,
Scott Quick

Why spend all that money just to get a worn out copy of a small block Ford? It's going to be in the junk yard for a reason. I understand you have a religion called LS motors and you have faith that the LS motors break the laws of physics and work better and cost less than anything else ever built. Plus they never wear out.

Isnt it funny that the less a municipality likes a project the more difficult the enviromental impact study becomes?? Mn. really needs more places to legally drive and race high performance vehicles. i live in Two Harbors MN. and the closest track from here is BIR, which is a 3 hour drive. Pine City would be so much more convienent. I wish you guys at Pine Run the best of luck, I hope you are sucessfull!
