I won't even get into the story this time, just wondering if anyone knows if the thermal paste dell uses is conductive? Someone anyone? I don't feel like cleaning off anymore of this shit from between pins if it isn't.

Yes, because water is conductive.... Although copper is quite conductive, gold isnt, or better said does not have the properties where 3.3-5v of electricity would matter.Originally posted by Akromixmildly. Only because it has a small amount of water in it. I'd clean it out good just to be sure.
Just be glad you're not using pure copper thermal paste...or even pure gold. I have both...havn't used either of them in a LONG time.2013 Raptor
