You are not thinking big enough. Wait another year to buy a Mustang.

    Hint: 7 Liters....

Direct injection will kill big power. that's the main reason the Cobalt SS/HHR SS is hindered. It's got its limitations.

And like everything else, hot rodders will find a way to make it work in a performance application.

A secondary fuel system with port injectors should fix that.

barack obama is president. You no longer need concern yourself with your own welfare. The government, as nanny state, will protect, provide and handle everything for you. All you need do is demand your "entitlements", continue to vote Democrat and watch Oprah.

Vote democrat... because your daddy's union boss said so and millions on welfare are depending on it.

Direct injection can handle plenty of power.

One of the biggest banes to direct injection is carbon buildup in the intake manifold. Ive found this out not with my mazdaspeed6 which is direct injection and if these motors have any boost in them then you get huge carbon buildup and have to either seafoam your engine after every oil change or install a OCC (which im planning on doing fairly soon to mine).

But direct injection seems to be where things are heading trying to save on fuel economy and not sacrifice power.
