One of my friends was one of the people searched, I don't always agree with her politics, but still think this is fucked the hell up.

They took her phone, her computers, papers her students had written (she's an English teacher and these were journal entries from students), books, personal tax documents, and that was the stuff they took with them. The rest of her things were left in random piles all around her hours -- including her two year-old daughter's toys.

She doesn't know when or if her personal (or school) items will be returned.

Regardless of your political leaning this is a shitty things to be doing.

If you're a bleeding heart, then you should be appalled this happened to one of your own.

If you're a tea-party activist, then you should be appalled that government can do this.

If you're in the middle, then you should still be appalled for whatever amalgamated reasons that you can form.
