    97 cobra won't idle

long story short; I would really appreciate some help!
Bought 97 cobra w/o upper/lower intake. installed intake and motor won't idle, starts up, revs to 4krpm and shouts down. With minor feathering of the throttle i can keep car running a little.

I've chked vacuum lines, throttle positions sensor volts, sprayed for intake leaks, I'm at the end of my knowledge and ability.

Hoping I could get some help, car is not totally together, thought I would warn you before you come over and shoot me..bought this car as a project car and I'm so eager to get it running!

I live in Maple Grove and would accept any help I could get...
Could offer some pizza and beer for your best efforts..I’m very frustrated!

          Yep! O2

Yep, O2 sensor installed, chked vacuum lines to the best of my ability and still stumped!

I hate to take off the upper/lower intake and start all over if i don't have to...think I need a fresh look at the situation.

Pretty sweet cobra I bought but no good if it doesn't run! Could push it to Porky's, I guess...

                Idle air sensor?
                MAF plugged in/clean?
You sure you have the intakes sealed with no vacuum leaks?
Fuel pressure in the Schroeder valve?
                fuel pump priming/turning on?
Fuel filter installed the correct way?
                Fuel lines kinked?

Probably hasnt run long enough to throw a code huh? Look into checking the codes and it might point you in a good direction.

                  I disagree.

                      Help!

Ok, thus far no takers on my request for help with coming to my place in Maple grove...I'm at the end of my skill and knowledge. Would anyone be willing to help me diagnose/repair the idle issue if I were to have the cobra towed to your place and help, maybe fetch cold drinks and maybe juggle!

All these suggestions are great and I am trying some of them but honestly I am at the end of my road and this Cobra needs to “run”! It looks fast just sitting in my driveway, too much work done to her just to sit around; kind of like your lady all dressed up with nowhere or no one to take them out!
I have free towing….! And she comes with pizza and beer!

I think you mean Schrader valve.

Do you have a vacuum gauge? Or can you get a vac/boost gauge from someone to at least see if it's getting ANY vacuum while cranking/"trying to idle"?

Have you checked the IAC? The TB? Generally, an idle problem like this is something st00pid simple and it just requires going through the paces with all the standard diagnostic tools.

                            IAC installed backwards?

Either way, start/stall has IAC written all over it.
