never had to retard my timing before on any car..so dont know how to do it...certinaly not a ls1...anybody got any tips?

Yeah the computer controls all of that now, so to advance or retard the timing I would just see what a local GM shop will charge? Seeing how most guys with LS1's either keep it stock or take it to the dealer to have them put on performance parts! hmm must be rough!Ride:

Weird, I dunno one guy that takes their GM in to get performance parts on it, they all seem to do their own work, or know someone that can help them.
