    Tq converter shudder fixes

Got a nasty vibration in my Exploder Sport. Everything I can find points to the tq converter (sounds like a very common issue in these things). Anyone have a real world fix without putting a new one in?
I tried the Lucas trans additive that the guy at the store suggested, but it didn't do crap.

Wanna get this fixed so I can get my blower set up back on and tuned.

Try changing the fluid and filter especially after adding the magic mechanic in a can

Suggesstions for a new one that will take a beating more than the stock one?
This whole auto trans thing is new to me.

Flush trans with Mercon 5 fluid and add 1 bottle of lube guard from napa and it is your best chance of fixing torque converter shudder other than replacing it.

It's the lockup slipping similar to clutch chatter from a worn disk/warped fly/pressure plate in a 3 pedal.

Torque converter clutch is on its way out. And when it shits out it'll wipe the tranny out also.

Is this for a 4R70 then? I have one with 45k on it. Come buy it with your gears.

If it is a 4R70W behind a 4.6, you MUST center the converter to the adapter plate with a special tool. FYI. It is not just a simple converter swap(unless you have the tool).

Both the red bottle Lube Guard and the squeeze tubes of shudder fix really work wonders.

I have used them on multiple occasions with awesome results.

Only use the Lube Guard products. All the others dont cut it.

I've never used anything "Lubeguard" except their trans cooler flush. Good stuff eh? I'm really considering picking up a car with a GM 4T65E-HD with higher miles and I'd like to do whatever I can to make the trans last.
