If you get a price locally I'd like to hear about it. I have a set I'd like to get done also.

I found a place online, but $800 to rebuild with a $1200 core charge seemed kind of bad

yeah, my dad found a place online that was like $850 with exchange for 8 injectors. i think it needs a couple new injectors, but not all 8. I would rather replace the bad ones and clean the other good ones.

          Dustin,
In the past I've used Diesel & Import Auto for checking/cleaning/flow testing/rebuilding (which the rebuilding part didn't consist of much for what I was having done).

Replace all of them since you are in there.

dads 6.0 has the same issue...

he brought it in for it running like shit.

they told him injector control module...

1200 later it runs better but not much.. now they want almost 4k to replace injectors...

so yes... if you find a place that can clean/rebuild them... please let me know

I have also seen the pins back out of the module hardshell connector. It will throw codes though for the related injector.

Dealt with them before, they know diesel's. I have the them pop test all TDI injectors that my work put nozzles in.
