I have finally convinced the dealer to order me the new synchro kit for the TR-3650. Thanks everyone for your help, and thanks Joe for the link to the TSB (# 04-15-6).

Maybe now it will actually drive correctly? If they can fix the alignment . . .

Sweet, did you take the car to Superior Ford?

Let us know how the car feels after the surgery. I know mine felt a heck of alot better.

Nope. I am still working with Eau Claire Ford. I had to place a couple of calls with Ford's Customer Care line and get them to tell the dealer how unhappy I was with the entire car.
I hope now I can get it into gear easier. For the longest time I thought I just sucked at driving the 5-speed. Well, there is probably truth to that, but I was getting really bothered by how bad it felt . . . turns out it was the car.
