I've tried McMaster, Fastenal, etc. We are looking for an M8 size and the smallest I've found is M12.

I'll have to check with seven corners.

Can't use a crush ring because we are using it to seal against plastic. We've tried a bunch of different sealing type washers(and have more to test) and we figured we'd see if we can find anything like the above. And, the big kicker, whatever we do find can't dig into the plastic when torqued down(only 1" OD flat washers have passed that test, but they didn't seal).

Most(if not all) oil drain plug bolts are M12 or larger.

coat the washer in liquid teflon tape and let dry. turns into a farely hard but not solid.
it's almost allstock! except the wheels.

Try a good Ace Hardware with a big hardware selection. I believe they have oil drain plugs in their hardware slide-out drawers.

                Try a local bike shop.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll have to check into them. I checked fastenal, but they didn't have what I was looking for. I saw those barn screws a few times, but didn't look into them since I thought they were all coarse thread self tapping. The thread has to be M8x1.25 thread pitch.

Take a bolt, weld a washer onto it, then use a rubber washer?
