Anybody know of a way to run manual steering in a '96 other than by getting a flaming river rack and pinion? Doing a carbureted 5.0 swap into my factory 3.8l car, and I just don't want to waste any of my motor's power on that p/s poop.

Just hook the power steering pump up. It's simple, and makes running the serpentine setup cake.
