    setting pinion angle

I have adustable uppers for my car, what is the procedure for setting the pinion angle? Do i go off what the angle of the tranny is, or should i level the car and do it that way? Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

the suspension should be loaded, as if the car is sitting on the ground.

i'm pretty sure you do it from the driveshaft to the pinion. but i've never done it before that's just what i've always thought it was.

You need to find the difference between the driveshaft and pinion. You measure the pinion at the pinion flange, which is of course 90 degrees different than the pinion. You want just enough angle so that you don't end up negative under power. How much angle you need to achieve that depends largely on bushing material....stock mushy rubber, urethane, delrin, aluminum, etc.... Soft bushings require a larger setting as the axle will move more.
