obviously load related, greatest load is from dig
check usual suspects, plugs/wires/cap/rotor check for knock, then air/fuel side, filters, injectors, pump???

I would say yes. Ethanol is soluble in water and will suck up moisture. If the batch has been sitting there for a long time it could have a very high water content and will not separate out. Old watery e85 burns like shit and would explain sudden symptoms.

Drain that shit out and get fresh stuff, I would never recommend going back to that pump. I would also demand a refund if you put fresh e85 in the tank and it fixes the problem.
