I've got the computer and the meter but I need the wiring. Can't I get just the connector for the meter and splice that into my current harness or should I just try to find a complete harness. This is on an 87 GT vert w/a 347

Word, FPM = Fuel Pump monitor... there isn't one on a S/D car, and I'm not sure where or what the sensor is... so you'll either just have to ground the pin... hot wire the pin... or something... I'm too lazy to look up the nominal sensor reading right now...

FYI on the Vehicle speed sensor. It's located "on" the speedo Cable. So I'm not sure what needs to change/be modified to make this work. To be perfectly honest, I'd probably just try it without the Speed-sensor and see how she does. I don't know the inner-workings of the A9L-series very well but I think it's still old enough to where the Vehicle speed doesn't effect the fuel table...

I did the conversion on my 86. I bought a 4 wire harness that goes to the meter to the cpu. I do not have the vehicle speed sensors on the drivers side kick panel for some reason. Could it be because I have an 86? Who knows. Follow this article to the T, and you will have it done in no time. I think it took me 6 hours, off and on, and that's only because I check every wire that I am moving or splicing about 10 times.
