AOD Rebuil Kits

May or may not need to rebuild. Assuming i am going to need to ...

With that said, and since i know less about Rebuilding a tranny than i do about Chevy motors...


The following I assume is what i am looking for???

Valve Body - Have a line on a Lentech
Looking for Stronger Bands, and Clutch Packs (or is it just extra Clutch packs).
I would also like to think a shift kit would help as well... Wtf is involved in, installing said shift kit


Oh and I will toss in a bunch of so you all dont have to.

Dude, dont sweat this, AODs either work or they dont, rarely a middle ground. Rebuilt it with the heavy duty truck kit and it will last at least 30k of solid asskicking.

So what do you wanna do with the AOD? Freshen it up and have it shift a little better and throw it in the Bronco?

Ive changed 4 transmissions this way. I hate junkyard AODs, nothing but bad fn luck.

Junkyard = cheaper & quicker
Rebuild = wont break anytime soon

probably going to have more than $300 in it, and I dunno if you'd want to trust your own rebuild either.
