Don't the v-6's have the same bellhousing pattern as a SBF?

the 4.2 V6? i dont think it did.

I have been wrong and i could be again though

Besides, if you wanted a truck trans why not just pick up the m50d.. They dont shift very fast but they seem to last forever.

M50D is a fairly weak trans. They are ok behind a truck 5.0 or 4.9, I would never run one is a Mustang, just me. T-5s are not that hard to find.

I wouldnt run it in a mustang Either...

Which brings me back to my ORiginal post - to just purchase a T5 and be done with it.

Ha, you can't be serious that buying a t5 and being "done with it" is a logical statement.
