Another tranny ???

Can I put an AOD in a 94-95 and run the 5 speed computer??? Will everything line up?? I want to put my vert back to an automatic. So if anybody has a Aod(if it fits) or an AODE that they would like to convert over to 5 speed let me know!!! Bryce

AODE will need a computer from a car with an AODE, or the TCI TCU when it becomes available for the AODE.

I have the aode comp. Vert is just going to be a cruiser for the wife and kid.

Not sure, still in vehicle you could test it, also have another you could test. I am down with a trade so let me know

We could put it in. Not a problem. I will have to find out how many miles are on it. I know it is not very many because the guy I got it from just put it in his car before he left for N.Carolina. I have another t-5 with about 50,000 that was my orginal swap tranny. We will have to change computers, foot pedals, cut a little piece where the shifter is. Not very hard at all. A good day of work and it would be ready.

If jjhirsch does not what to go through with the transaction I would be interested I have a 92 vert with a aod in it. there is a little bit more miles than his I have 90000 miles on mine. I do however have a lift that would make the swap easier. Hit me back if you do or do not what to do this. justin
