    few quik ?'s- help please..

    ok---got the 302 into the 98 chassis...doesnt look right to me it looks like it is sitting crooked...my ?, when u look at your motor (efi 302) with the distributor cap off is the top of the distributor level with the ground (in otherowrds is it flat across) mine is leaning to the right as you look from the front thats why i think its crooked...also, i need a single 24lb injector cap(intake side cap) as one of mine cracked, anyone got one laying around they could pop into an envelope and send down to rochester???

    im guessing im running into some motor mounting issues relating to the fact that im putting a 302 into a 4.6 chassis.....all looks the same but im sure stuff is a little different....i found out crossmember mount has to be "adjusted" a few inches but all else except for "crooked" motor is goin fine....

    I just found out last night that my motor isnt sittin in the motor mount properly, and my motor is leaning as well, starting to take its tole on my tranny mount as well Id say check that make sure the little nubbins are sitting in the holes on the motor mount that they are supposed. If thats not the case then......

    I guess I dont really understand what your talking about with the intake side injector cap...but I think I may have a complete 24# injector layin in the garage that i could part with...bunch of my caps broke when pulling them out to put in the 30's, and I think I kept the good ones for situations like this...Ill check.

      the part that sticks into the intake the little cap on the end of injector i had a set of 19lbers layin around too but gave all the caps away also thx z

            Here is a possible idea as to why it’s sitting crooked. Could you have put the right mount on the left side and left on the right? Just an idea, because I know the convertible style mounts have a little locating pin that has to lock into a hole on the fox K-members and its a b*&^% sometimes to get them in especially if you swap the mounts like someone I shall not mention (Dan N).

            For the injector cap try these guys I know they do cleaning and I beleive their name came up when someone else was looking for injector caps.

                  ok folks looks like thru my research the kmembers are different from one car to the next so i guess ill hafta get a new kmember DAMNIT!!!!! or ill have to do some homemade engineering and welding thx
