so i have some money saved up and ready to make the cobra more fast. as of now i have flowmaster 40s and KN intake. Im thinking about doing headers, 4.10s w/ a limited slip of some sort and maybe a 6 speed(my trans needs to be gone through anyways.)

what are some suggestions that you would do. i will probably supercharge it next spring. thanks a lot!

6 speed? from where?

4.10 are a good way to go but i think the cobras have high gears already. most people say 3.73 for 5 speeds and 4.10 for autos.

If you are having transmission problems it is best to fix it first then to make it fast and have it brake with no money to fix.

i was thinking about either rebuilding the 5 speed or swapping for a 6 speed. and it has gt gears right now.

4.10's you will LOVE em. i have em and they will just bring your car to life. and i still get 20 MPG driving down interstate 40 miles daily. and i've got as good as 24 MPG.
