    No BCM communication trouble codes ever? Bad MAF can cause a no start (I see you have replaced, but with new?)

    Try swapping relays ^ as mentioned above if this happens again.

    if it has power, you turn the key and everything dies then minutes later the power comes back it is undoubtly battery termanals are dirty corroded or the studs are not tight... or it is a ground. that is all. fix that then ask again. tycomeagain

    Might try a starter relay as well, or just swap it with the AC relay and see if it still acts up, it's worth a shot.

    This was a problem with a couple of the rental's I had to tow..

    Something about the signal from the neutral safety switch, BCM and Security system...

    The service coordinator at cendant said at the time all instances were solved by a complete reflash, and new keys. Virus?

    Sean, it is a 3800... why would an intake leak be so intermittent though, and run fine for weeks/months at a time? Same with coil packs.... I'd assume those might cause intermittent problems while driving as well.

    Also, with either problem I'd assume the car would still crank. This doesn't crank or anything, you just turn the key, the lights shut off, and nothing.
    Strangely enough, The wifes 3800 did the same thing, turned out to be corroded battery terminals.
