I have a Fox body 8.8 with 94-98 SN95 axles (and disc brakes) that I'm looking to trade for an '03 IRS. The guy who wants my 8.8 is looking for a 99-04 spec as apparently these cars had a slightly longer axle length. My direct question is what are the differences between the 94-98's to the 99-04's 8.8 rear ends? My secondary question is, can my rear end be rebuilt with parts to meet the 99-04 track width?
Thanks, Mike

...I read your post and see nothing about the axle tubes, just that axle lengths vary, which I was aware of. I've heard from people whom I think are reputable sources on corral claim the tube lengths did change from the 94-98 to the 99-04 rear end.
