electrical problem

its a 1999 taurus,turn signals dont work,power windows dont work,interior light dont work,speedometer dont work,trunk release dont work,and power mirrors dont work.car starts and drives fine.the tach works same with fuel and water gauge all work.what could this be?already replaced a interior relay which did not do anything.

There will be multiple fuse locations on there. Or there may be a large connection on or near the interior interior fuse block that got loose

Sounds like a complete failure of the internal lights.

Ill bet there is a relay or 2 under hood that controls some/most or all of the above.

All youse is wrong. There is a body control module that is at the drivers kick near the fuse panel. You'll need to get the model numbers off of it to be able to replace it, as they are specific to the vehicle. Couple hundy and the dealer. Ebay and car-part.com should be much cheaper.

if I remember correctly there was an ssm on those cars with multiple issues. I believe it had to do with water getting into the connector on the prndl switch on the tranny. I just looked on the ford web site but with your vin # its hard to tell if it open for this car and year.

when i was 17 i took my cadillac there a few times, overpriced dump if you ask me. i cant get half the tail lights working on my mercury i might have to take it there, im scared.
