Why should I buy a 'vert?
Found a gt convertible at a decent price, why should i buy one instead of a coupe. I know why not to buy one. any help is cool, thanks

heavier, weaker chassic, and cant run as fast at track w/o more saftey items (IE roll bar, cage....and cages are usually ugly in 'verts) -

Verts are sweet. You know when its really hot outside and your car's been sitting there for a while, and as soon as you get in you can barely breathe because of how hot it is? But you just have to put up with it because youre in a hurry..? With a vert you can just put the top down and youre comfy. Another reason is the cool factor - convertibles are cool. Especially if youre tryin to pick up chicas
Plus it's so nice on a hot summer night to just cruise around in a vert... 
However, I'd rather have a coupe.Andy

I have one and I love it. The chick factor is worth it. I feel safe cuz it would be rather hard to roll it.(not saying that is cant be done) I feel free not all couped up in a coupe. Trust me verts rock.
