My bro wants to get a gear drive timing set for his 302.What are the pro and con,s?

Noisy, some people like the whine. Sounds kind of neat but not for me I guess. Strong, but kind of overkill for most applications, in my opinion.

No pros unless you like the sound. A lot of harmonics are transfered to the cam, or so I hear.
