    Exhaust for jimmah

Jim, in the newist issue of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords they took a stone stock '95 GT and installed a set of Mac shorty headers, Mac Hpipe w/cats, Mac catback, and a Mac cold air kit.

the car stock put down 166.73rwhp and 204.20rwtq.

after the exhaust and cai the car put down 224.92rwhp and 266.10rwtq.

so you be the judge jimmah, i think the exhaust, cai, and if you do pullies will deffinitley wake your car up. then get some gears and it should feel totally different.

picking up 37rwhp and 41rwtq has got to be a huge jump from what your sitting at now. go for it.

I read it too, sounds like a lot gained considering I have the same setup and I dynoed less than that. I also have pulleys, but no cai. I think pulleys would do more than the cai anyway. I think the numbers are a little exagerated, but I know my car feels a lot stronger, maybe not 40 hp, more like 25, but all in all, well worht the effort, do it Jimmah!

Plus they never wear out.

        I disagree.

something has gotta be up with my car then...something tells me i should have put down more than 178rwhp, well, maybe not.

im planning on getting the o/r h pipe and pulleys this week(mustangmatt, PM or call me), so hopefuly that'll help bump up my power. i'd love to do headers too, and a cai, but money is tight right now. i'll probably think about doing the headers and cai, maybe a shifter or something else as the summer gets further on...

i don't always believe magazine dyno tests like that...
all mac stuff there... think MAC had anything to do with the final or starting dyno results?

Jimmah, have you done all of the regular maintenance stuff yet?

Check the Timing? Fuel Pressure? Fresh Plugs? Maybe Wires?

If ya hit up the Cell I can help with the first two since I have a relatively nice light + guage.

Jon, Sure Gimme a call, we'll bump that thang up a couple of degrees.

And, no, we got the thing "close enough" to get him home, but it's still having problems. Something about a custom intake, custom intercooler, no temperature feed, a new head, different cam, and relocating the air-meter took the thing a little bit out of tune.
