On my way to the bank this morning, driving down the road, and I see something in the middle of the road, so I swerve to miss it. As soon as I do that, I hear a "POP Pssssst.....", flat tire. Looks like it's time to throw my Nitto's on in the rear.
Grrrr....having a bad morning....

i actually had Yokohama AVS ES100's on it, 245/50 16, and then I have Nitto 555R's in the same size on steels. I just went to Discount Tire and had them swap the tires. Here's some pics for your viewing pleasure. Took out nearly the whole sidewall, can't really tell that from the pics though."A train station is where the train stops. You didnt say what really happened to the tire, was it actually the swerve that killed it?Originally posted by HackWhy spend all that money just to get a worn out copy of a small block Ford? It's going to be in the junk yard for a reason. I understand you have a religion called LS motors and you have faith that the LS motors break the laws of physics and work better and cost less than anything else ever built. Plus they never wear out.
I disagree.

Yeah, when I swerved, there were 2 brake pads sitting on my right, and I happened to catch one with my tire. The hole in the sidewall runs from the rim to the tread block. I'll take another pic tonight, since I kept the tire (need it for when I get new tires in a few months. Thank god for replacement plan's)."A train station is where the train stops.
