when i am driving, right around 15-1800 rpm, when i am excellerating i get a shudder in the front and feel it through the dash... is that u-joints, or possibly a lock-up converter? any ideas fellas? thanks Brian

You can test it by taking the trans out of overdrive and running it in D3. This will prevent the lockup feature and should eliminate the problem. Put in some Seafoam trans tune, run it, then change fluid in a few hundred miles.

Well, that is not my experience. Perhaps the converter is gummed up. I did this procedure to my AT over 100K ago and it has not since made this shuddering.Originally posted by 00RedRocket View Post
