    car audio question...

i have the stock(except new head unit) mach 460 stereo in my car. the speakers work fine, but every so often the left and right front ones cut out. if i turn up the volume a bit, they snap back on. do i have a problem with my wiring? easy to fix?

I'd say ya do. My budy's stang thats a '95 in the pic next to mine he had that problem too! He put a new cd player and surround sound in it, and its still did that same shit. I asked if he used the stock janky wires they give us he sais yep. Damn, Ihe re wired everything and shit sounds sweet every since!

Do you have aftermarket speakers installed? You might have too much bass going through and the radio is going into protection. Try turning your bass control down and see if you can crank them baby's up!

it sounds like a loose connection jimmah. just pull the panels and check to see if there are loose wires.
