5 lug conversion on a 4 cyl car

alright, well i picked up my 5 lug conversion and i just have a couple quick questions to ask about it relating to a 4 cyl car. I have the back covered because I have 5 lug axles for the 8.8 i have yet to put in, but what discs would I get to make it work with the stock 8.8 mustang brakes? Then also will the front caliper brake lines hook up to the 4 cylinder lines ok, or do they need to be extended or anything?? sorry for teh newbness, I haven't really looked into it too much

I don't think the front lines are any different between a 4cyl and a v-8. You should be fine there. Are you planning on doing the sn95 brakes or something else?

Here's a really good site. It will have most of the information you need

For the rear, all you need is a set of brake drums for a 89ish Ranger. They will slip right on the existing rear shoes & backing plates. You never really said if you have put V8 spindles/brakes on the front or still have the 4 cyl brakes on the front. If you have V8/5.0 front brakes already on the car, all you need are 2 front rotors for around a 88-90 Lincoln LSC. If you still have the 4 cyl brakes on front you will need 2 front rotors for a 2WD 89ish Ford Ranger. I think you have to swap the outer bearing race with your orignals, but it is a bolt on deal. I've done it both ways.

      Good Luck.
