Risk/benefit, post mod install trip to Tune.....?

Looking at having a few pals help me install the following;

KB BAP

63# Injectors

Diablo Mafia

Zex Wet Kit with purge and window switch.

LC-1 Wideband kit

The question is being that I'm gonna try to do most of this myself, how wise would it be to drive the 40 miles from Inver grove up to see Casey at HiTech for the tune after these installs?

Of course I wouldn't be boosting, or spraying during this trip at all, and I do have the preditor chip with a tuner, and will have the wideband in?

You think I could just lean it back some with the 63#'s, but leave it pretty rich and just drive at 50 MPH up to High Tech without causing any damage right?

Leave the stock injectors in. They are quick and easy to change. You would be running way too rich. Put them in at the dyno.

i mailed hi-tech my chip and had them do a generic tune when i installed my blower so i could drive it up there safetly.

Or. Bring your preditor up to me, and Ill zing in a quick 63# injector tune for you to drive it up to the shop with..

Just make sure that you have one of the preditor tunes installed into your vehicle, so that I am able to download the original back-up.

The present loaded tune is a custom preditor tune from AZ, is that the backup tune you will need to modify for the new 63's, then load it on the tuner for me to load into the chip?

That works just fine. With the tune from AZ in your car, your PCMs original back-up is installed on the preditor. I can take a copy of that, and write you a tune to get you to the shop. Using your exhisting preditor.. Just bring me your preditor, as it sits with the AZ tune in your car.
