Ash Tray problem

yep you guessed it, I have the infamous Fox ashtray lid problem, I did buy the ash tray fix kit from mavromont industries, and that has now broken. Do I need to get a whole new center console, or can I get just the ash tray lid assembly, anybody have any information to help me out, that would be great. Thanks

I didnt install it that 'great' and I put a little pressure on it when I was trying to get my tranny out, and the plastic that the metal bracket attaches to (metal bracket comes with the kit) snapped, and Im not gonna just glue it back on or anything, plus I think the spring is whammied and all cock-eyed.

Ok, ashtrays were known for breaking. What color do you need? I might have extras.

Also, you can buy the lids and springs online, possibly from 50resto and such.

5.0 resto sells the mavromont fix-it kit and new ashtray lids and console tops. You can always check the eBay as well.

I just need the spring, everything else is in great shape. Also the ashtray doesn't eve bother me, shit I rarely even notice it. Sorry No smoker here Even if I did I wouldn't smoke in my stang, that smell lingures in your car and it gets worse everytime someone lights one up!

5.0 Resto sells just the spring as well HOWEVER it won't do you much good if the ashtray or the console are broken.
